We illuminate their paths with pride and shower them with heartfelt congratulations!
GENEVIEVE COSGROVE
Genevieve Carter Cosgrove will graduate from Appomattox Regional Governor’s School for the Arts and Technology, located in Petersburg, Virginia, with a focus on art. She will attend Christopher Newport University in the fall to study Graphic Design and International/Global Marketing. Along with her love for Art, Genevieve is an avid dancer and has been dancing since she was three. She hopes to continue that love while in college.
Genevieve is the daughter of Chad and Carter Cosgrove.
LUKE HOPPE
Luke Hoppe will graduate from Atlee High School in Hanover, Virginia, as the Valedictorian of his 2024 graduating class.
Luke’s caring and compassionate heart was demonstrated by his involvement in multiple service clubs and activities in high school, including Key Club International and SODA. He was also active in Young Life. He received Atlee’s Legacy Award, which the faculty and staff nominated and voted on. It is given to the senior who is responsible and passionate, patient and energetic, organized and dedicated and made a tremendous impact and lasting impression on students, staff members, and the Atlee community during high school. In the fall, Luke will pursue an Electrical Engineering degree at Auburn University, Auburn, Alabama.
Luke is the son of Lucky and Ed Hoppe.
JAKE HOPPE
Jake Hoppe, son of Ed and Lucky Hoppe, graduated in May of 2024 from Baylor University in Waco, TX with a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems. Jake loved his 4 years at Baylor where you could often find him wearing the Green and Gold at every sporting event on campus. His parents could often spot him in the stands on televised games. Jake was also active in his local church in Waco. Upon graduation, he accepted a job at Textron, Inc., a Fortune 500 company. He has joined their Leadership Development Program, a 2-year talent development program within the company. He will be working in their Information Technology group, hoping to specialize in computer networking and cybersecurity.
CAMERON BAKER
Cameron Baker graduated from Liberty University with a Master’s in Sports Management. He is back home in Hanover, Virginia, applying for positions where he may use his undergraduate degree in business administration and his love of sports management.
Cameron is the youngest child of Jan and Gary Baker.
